Rear Window Concepts

When I first created the Rear window Piece I had many different versions of the same image, during the different times of day, when Jeff is watching over the courtyard. I think the night one is still my favourite piece but you can purchase others at my Etsy store –

Below are a few examples of the original drawing and the development. I wanted the Illustration to have a cartoon element to it rather than be too realistic.

Sketches For Bears

Some of my initial sketches before I coloured the final Bear Images. As I previously mentioned the piece originally started as a Chicago Bears Superbowl piece but I re-drew it at a later date. Initially I started with a Polar Bear idea but I don’t think it worked as well with the concept of the Chicago Bears, plus the Polar Bear drawing is a weaker drawing.

Williamson Art Gallery Piece

This is one of my Illustrations which can be purchased from the website shop. I got it framed by a fantastic bespoke local framers, ‘Framing Manchester.’ It is currently being being exhibited in the Williamson Art Gallery on the Wirral. I will add a few more photos shortly once I visit the gallery.

Star Wars – Box Contents & Staging

This just shows different ideas I came up with of what may be included in the box and just how adaptable it could be. I think the key rule is what ever was included needed to be as thin as possible or fold out in some manner. Posters are always great and things people love to collect!

We were fairly pressed for tie and I came up with the ship platform concept, with it being quite iconic scene in Cloud City in the Star Wars franchise and thought it would be fairly easy to put together. These sections, along with all the other merchandise could be collectible with different options. I thought you could have an X-Wing ship and maybe a Dagobah swamp landing area, an AT-AT or Snow-speeder and a Hoff snowy environment…the list is really is endless! Lastly I finished off with some T-Shirt Concepts, just tried to keep it simple. I thought having sleeves you can customize was a nice idea to make your T-Shirt more personal i.e. decide to be an Imperial or a Rebel, have a rank etc. We found a company that produced specialised badges that could be ironed onto garments or used as sticker decals.
