Star Wars – Box & Fold Out Concepts

Next was some of the box concepts and designs and the way the outside fit together. At the time the patent pending part of the box was the foldout section. This encased the interior merchandise whilst adding structural integrity when combined with the wrap around section. The idea with the fold-out section was that it not only served a purpose but was also a nice piece of Artwork that people could put on their walls. One idea we had was that the box could be posted straight from the location of purchase, hence the concept section with the address similar to a postcard. That last section shows some ‘Belly Band’ ideas. This could be removed easily, containing garment size information and retail price. They wanted the box itself could be as minimalist and aesthetic as possible.
